Today we’ll have a view on Spores' latest featured artist, Jeffrey Huang, a self-taught programmer and interactive designer. Jeffrey, also known as @YelloSesame in the cryptoverse, makes distinctive cyberpunk-themed pieces using Western materials and then adding an Asian touch, giving his NFTs an immersive and multicultural sense.

HIS WORKS

He is well recognized for his work on the Snow Like Ashes series, Scion, Under Armor’s All American Football Show, New York City Football Club, and the Pocono Raceway. He’s also done promotional work for a number of well-known crypto projects; Spores Network has joined the ranks of Cardano, Gate.io, Polkadot, Chainlink, Holo, Crypto Punks, and others.

Jeffrey, although a programmer and interactive designer, always had a passion for 3D design and animation so, whenever he had the chance, he taught himself Cinema 4D and Adobe AfterEffects.

He started his NFT journey in July, 2020 and just this August, created an NFT Collectibles in OpenSea. The name of the project is CryptoSaviors Collection. CryptoSaviors is an Ethereum-based collection of 3D Avatar NFTs, which are one-of-a-kind digital treasures. These digital avatars are precisely designed based on characters and personalities. Jeffrey’s goal with this collection is to blend Chinese and American culture. A mixture of traditional Chinese martial arts and weapons in a cyberpunk theme.
Jeffrey’s artwork is always based on a cyberpunk theme. That is also why he produced the CryptoSaviors Collection, which drew influence from a wide range of media, including comic books, movies, street art, and motion graphics.

Jeffrey has expressed his belief and interest in Decentralisation and NFTs because it gives him the time to explore as a creative designer, giving him the freedom to create content without making compromises with clients and answering to creative directors. He regards his NFT Kobe Series “The Legend, The Goat and The Black Mamba" as his most satisfying project, as he wanted to create a series of designs and mint them on blockchain devoted to Kobe’s legacy.

According to Jeffrey:

“I still consider myself a beginner in this NFT world. I am still learning NFT. In fact, I have to admit that I am having a hard time keeping up its pace. I always love to explore new possibilities and opportunities. So when Jeffrey Lee the Chief Art Curator of Spores Network asked me to join Spores as an artist for the platform, I immediately accepted the invitation. In fact, I just finished a logo animation for SPORES. I have been working for Jeffrey Lee for quite some time and the experience is quite satisfying.”
