Recently, we Shuttlenauts witnessed the launch of the ShuttleOne Testnet. With the launch of the Testnet, ShuttleOne was able to give the community the opportunity to provide feedback and participate in the final products of their fantastic project.

Because the product is also intended for non-tech, non-crypto savvy users, the Testnet was designed with an easy and effective user interface in mind. Anyone between the ages of 10 and 80 should be able to use these products and interact with various crypto networks. ShuttleOne believes that a consumer-focused design is essential for any product, especially given their core design philosophy is to make any product as simple to use as possible.

However, with the launch of the Testnet now done, what is the next step ? What is ShuttleOne working on ? Well, the truth is that ShuttleOne has always carried out their work with the members of the community in mind. So, once they have completed the development and finalization of the products on which they have been working, they will make the products available to the entire community. These products are quite unique, and the future plans for upgrading them are even more so. Let’s take a peek at what’s in store.

The ShuttleWallet

This can basically be seen as one wallet for all the networks. You see, as the Metachain universe continues to broaden, users will get the chance to interact with more networks and the ShuttleWallet will be quite necessary for that. Users will be able to open and control wallets on Tezos and other blockchain networks with a single wallet in the future.

The Metachain

The concept of the Metachain is to have one cross-chain bridge for all transactions. After the inclusion of $SZO, Stablecoins will be the next to move on the Metachain bridge. As such, there will be much more liquidity brought into the Tezos ecosystem. With time, there is going to be a widespread adoption of the Tezos protocol which will in turn cause an increase in the expected cross-chain liquidity in the future.

The Metachain bridge will have the added advantage of some the lowest transaction fees heard of. Despite that, Metachain also supports asset transfer from one blockchain to another, thereby allowing Tezos-based DeFi projects to bridge stablecoins such as USDT, USDC, DAI, and others to increase liquidity on the Tezos chain. A bridge that is made by the community and can serve everyone in Blockchain space

The Metachain is being tested right now. However, once it is finished, ShuttleOne intends to make it available and completely open to any crypto project that wishes to build Dapps on multiple networks without the obstacles and challenges posed by cross-network barriers. As at this time, the testnest is open to try and test for all the community members from Tezos, ETH, BSC and ShuttleOne. ShuttleOne is very particular about community and tailoring their products to meet the needs of the public so any suggestions or feedback will be quite helpful to enable them build the best version of the bridge.

Feek free to try out the ETH/BSC-TEZOS bridge testnet here: SHUTTLEONE.NETWORK

Note: The bridge is still in testing, and this is only a testnet, so please do not deposit Fiat or Crypto currency here!
